Fabrication Process:

Core selection per customer request or advise All parts are machined to specs All internal parts are manufactured and assembled: heating or cooling systems, etc. Stress relieved material if needed Journals and end plates are constructed and fitted to core All journals are Press Fit and welded for long lasting support Internal corners shall have radius cut to reduce stress fractures All bearings and coupling surfaces are to be concentric with shell face Tir. No more than .001″ or otherwise requested Bearing surfaces are to have an interface fit per bearing manufacturer specs Crown / Taper / Groove as needed Static Balance / Dynamic Balance to ISO 1940 G2.5 standard (if needed) Finish roll to needed RA Rubber, Urethane, Chrome, Ceramic, Tungsten Carbide, FEP/PFA and etc. will finish to specs Any other relative specs.
